A mailing list is like a virtual club. Everybody on the list is involved in the same interest. In this case, Cornwall or Cornish genealogy. The list enables you to discuss and share your thoughts and research, as well as ask questions, by sending a single email to one address. Your email is then automatically duplicated and sent to everyone else around the world subscribed to that mialing list. People can then, if they so choose, respond to you privately or via the mailing list as they see fit.The Cornish mailing lists have been very helpful, and indeed instrumental, in my own research. I highly recommend them.
