Priske Manor, Cornwall

There is a Priske Manor of long standing (reputedly at least four hundred years) in Cornwall at E167900, N20400. According to a local historian, for some period of time, the Manor supplied horses for a Cornish Regiment. He speculated that the horse shoes on the Priske Coat of Arms might represent that servitude. Up until at least the mid 1970's the boundaries were marked by stones and Pryske hedging.

The house was in the Priske family in the 1600's. (See the Protestation Returns.)
