Like compression socks, sleeves help reducing swelling and alleviate pain in your lower legs. However, unlike socks, sleeves are intended for calf support only during intensive athletic activities, and will not prevent swelling in the foot.
  • It's important to choose the right size in order to receive the best support from your sleeve. To determine which size is best for you, measure your calf at the widest point. For calves 11" to 14", choose S/M. For calves 14.5" to 18", choose L/XL. If you aren't certain, choose the L/XL size if you wear wide calf boots.
  • These sleeves are made from a combination of 93% nylon and 7% spandex. The knit/weave is chosen to provide 15 - 20 mmHg gradual compression from the ankle up through the calf. Constant motion while wearing the sleeves, like jogging, can help prevent or reduce fluid pooling in the foot itself.
  • Athletic compression sleeves are easy to take on and off. Scrunch up the sleeve into a ring and slip it over your foot and heel. Pull the sleeve up from the ankle until the top cuff reaches your knee. Smooth out any wrinkles and straighten, in order to ensure correct grip. To remove, hook your thumbs under the top cuff and slide down the leg and back over the heel and foot.
  • These sleeves are intended to be worn only for short stretches of time, during exercising or other periods of intense physical activity. If you require support while sitting for long periods of time, such as all day at work or when travelling, a full compression sock is your best choice. If you wear a compression sleeve during these times, you may experience excessive swelling in your feet due to the squeezing around your ankle.

HOW TO KNOW YOUR COMPRESSION SLEEVE SIZE
