- Designed for Suburban SW series water heaters, this electrode assembly is compatible with a variety of models, including: SW6D, SW6DE, SW6DEL, SW6DEM, SW6DM,SW10D, SW10DE, SW10DEL, SW10DEM, SW10DM,SW12D, SW12DE, SW12DEL, SW12DEM,SW16D, SW16DE, SW16DEL, SW16DEM, etc.
- Mainly used for RV (Recreational Vehicle) water heater ignition system maintenance or fault replacement, especially for electronic ignition (DSI) models
- Ignition and sensing functions: The electrode assembly includes a single sensing electrode and a spark probe for starting and flame detection of the electronic ignition system, solving the problem of ignition failure or unstable combustion914

LOCALFLAME SENSING (Single Spark and sense):
- With power off, connect a DC micro ammeter (D'Arsorval movement type) as shown in the diagram below. (The meter should be protected from high voltage surges, which could damage the meter movement. A 1.5uF 200-volt film capacitor across the meter terminals or lead wires will provide adequate protection ). The lead wires and terminals must be isolated from other surfaces to prevent the H.V. signal from arcing to ground during the trial-for-ignition period.
- Apply power. Once the flame is established and the sparks shut off, a flame sense current of 1.5uA DC minimum is required for proper operation.
- CAUTION: Due to possible conditions, do not touch the micro ammeter or lead wires during the flame sense test. Always remove power before any adjustments.
