In the package that I received the small center bolt was not tapped and was missing the threads for the frame puller to screw into.

This wasn't the one I was looking at originally ,it was out of stock , but seems to have the same adapters and puller unit. I prefer the sliding fixed puller arms overhead ones with the pivoting arms. I haven't used yet but looks like it will do the job

If you're into motorcycle maintenance or repairs, this bearing puller set is a game changer. Removing wheel bearings, especially those hidden deep inside the wheel hub, can be a real pain. But this tool kit makes it so much easier, giving you a safe and reliable way to get those bearings out without damaging anything. The fact that it’s designed specifically for blind holes means you can work with confidence, knowing that the wheel hub and bearings won’t be harmed in the process. What I love about this set is how versatile it is. With 7 different collets ranging from 8mm to 25mm, it's perfect for a wide variety of wheel bearings. Whether you’re working on your motorcycle or helping out a friend, this tool kit will likely have the right size you need. The fit is incredibly secure, thanks to the pin bolt tightening, which helps prevent the tool from loosening while you work. I’ve had no issues with slippage or instability, which makes the whole process feel a lot safer and more efficient. The build quality is top-notch, too. The puller is made from premium alloy steel, which gives it a solid, durable feel that should last through plenty of projects. The heat-treated and blackened threaded rods add to its overall toughness, ensuring the tool holds up over time. It’s definitely built to last, even under heavy use.Using the tool is a straightforward process. After inserting the tool into the inner ring of the bearing, you simply screw the head into place, and then turn the shaft to remove the bearing. The instructions are clear, and I was able to get the job done quickly without any hassle. This set makes working on bearings less intimidating, even if you're not a pro mechanic.Overall, this is a well-designed and effective tool kit for anyone who needs to remove motorcycle bearings regularly. It’s sturdy, easy to use, and versatile enough to handle different sizes of bearings. A great investment for any DIY motorcycle enthusiast or professional mechanic.

The product works. It's just not gonna be long-lasting. Already one of the stabilizing parts in it to hold it up while you're pulling the bearings out what are the arms? I mean, bend makes it very awkward to use tends to fall over when you're trying to tighten it down, you have to hold it pretty firm

I got this specifically as a puller for certain scenarios. Although this is a motorcycle wheel bearing puller, it can be used for many other applications in the mechanics world. I use it occasionally as a pilot bearing puller when I do clutch replacements on cars. It feels good to have one of these in your toolbox, because the day will come when you need this set.

When I saw how much this cost and what comes with it I decided to order it. I need one of these for my Harley. Now they want you to buy practically the same exact tool as this one and the biggest difference is $130 difference.I haven't started to tear down my motor yet but my friend has. So he is been texting me all week when is this coming in. So like a lot of things I receive from Amazon I try out pretty quickly. This works perfect it did exactly what it said it would do and for practically a quarter of the price of the Harley-Davidson one. I really like all the different sizes. Now that was the only thing that slowed us down is to make sure we use the right one. Which I still believe if we would have started all with one bigger or one smaller as long as we did not damage the bearing housing that we would be okay. Fortunately there was one that fit beautiful. It's almost like the company knows a certain group of people need something like this and what to provide you with it at a better price.Years ago we had a friend who did not believe you needed this tool and try to make something himself. He messed up big time. He had to pull the motor take it to the machine shop and have the bearing house three sized and then order the right bearings. The one decent thing he did for that is for anyone who might in the future want to do the same work he put in there with an etcher on what size that bearing is now and where you could get it.So you get something for to use easy it removes the bearing very easily and it seems to be built pretty damn good. Now it is easy to use but you need to know what you're doing. There are plenty of videos out there if you don't own a shop manual for whatever you're working on.I really hope this review helps anybody. As you can tell about how lengthy it is I'm pretty impressed with my investment and I just wanted to let others know there are alternatives that are good that you don't need to spend all that extra money especially if you're not doing it for a living.
