I had no idea I would need to use a 5/8” spade bit to drill holes into the face wood of my speakers. Also, these frames are a bit too bulky for smaller speakers. If you are redoing the mesh grills on large floor mount speakers (not bookshelf speakers), and you are ok with drilling holes, this the kit for you.

Easy to set up to correct size. Had to glue speaker cloth, but was not difficult and turned out great.

easy to cut and assemble. Gluing the cloth to the frame is a bit challenging - it would be ideal if some manner of clips could be developed to help with attaching the cloth

The item description should have mentioned that one kit is for ONE speaker only or at least specified the number of parts included so that a buyer can figure out what and how many to order. I only had my job half-done and ran out of corner units. I had to order another set of four corner units.

The kit comes as advertised. Cut to fit where you need it. Instructions were easy to follow. Not much can go wrong. Be sure to measure properly and use good glue when applying the grill cloth (not included).
