Effortless Installation Process 1.Disconnect the Cable Unplug the black end of the cable from the throttle lever. 2.Remove the Old Cable Detach the cable from its retaining clips on the mower frame. 3.Access the Engine Area Use a screwdriver to remove screws securing the engine cover panel. 4.Detach Components Unscrew the bottom elbow bracket and disconnect the cable from the throttle linkage. 5.Install the New Cable Route the new cable along the original path, secure with retaining clips, and reconnect to the throttle lever.

The cable works however the throttle controller/lever is so sloppy and loose the spring on the carb pulls the lever back to idle when you let go of it. Very sloppy and cheaply made. Just order from the badboy website and order one that works.

I didn't get this for a badboy. Just a push mower.Works fine for my need.However, it's not made real great.It is stiff enough for my needs, but there's no way to adjust it and there's no notches to keep it put so it may not work for some uses.Also, the ball on the end is 2 pieces and on mine they are not put together well and the bottom half is loose and moves around.Usable at a good price but not the best product.
