What's the Timing Chain?
Timing chain is the most important part of automotive's engine timing system. It is located in the front of the motor and is attached to a set of gears and pulleys that power multiple mechanical components, including the crankshaft and camshaft. In order for engine to fire, timing chain must smoothly rotate around the gears. Although timing chain is made out of metal, it is subject to wear and tear and may break if not replaced as recommended by the factory.

This kit was exactly what I ordered. I was surprised at the price and the quality of the items. It makes it nice seeing the dealer sells each part individually and it costs a fortune buying that way

I bought this kit literally only for the Oil tensioner when I got my timing cover off and realized mine was in real bad shape. This kit shipped much faster than ordering the oil tensioner itself and its a simpler part than the rest of the timing so I am not worried about its durability.The rest of the parts seem pretty well made, Not to OEM/Febi/Valeo quality but still... Damn good for 50$.That said, I would never use them on anything more than the oil tensioner and I only got it because I was in a pinch and needed fast shipping.
