Easy install, looks great and for such a small item people do notice it right away (and I have an obnoxious bright orange bike). The one downside is, if you have to remove your bars, fork, etc... it's a pain to get the center star off (tape provided not strong enough... but guess that's a good thing). I filed down a small section of it so I can place a pin and pop it off.

Looks cool fits great on my Ritchey WCS stem. Some have had issues removing the center cap with the supplied tape, l did not, in fact l used two tape pieces to slightly reposition the cap. Each time the tape slightly loosened the cap and l was able to get a fingernail under the edge of pry it loose.

Looks really cool on my Trek Marlin 7 and was easy to put on. The screw and tool were included and the cap itself is metal and seems good quality. The small center cap that goes over the screw has a rubber o-ring and while I haven’t had to remove it yet, I could see it being a bit tricky to do so but certainly possible.Really adds personality to your bike and is an excellent value, if I wasn’t so lazy I would probably buy a few and rotate them. (I still might) Thumbs up.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this decorative stem cap. It really looks great.. The colors are baked in not just painted on top. The only problem is if you have to remove the center star, which I needed to do when I upgraded my stem. The star is almost impossible to remove. The tape provided to do this is a joke. I was finally able to pry it out using a screw driver made for eyeglass repair. But it scratched the star in doing so. Great product if you won't need to remove it. But if you frequently remove your stem you may want to consider a different design. They should build in a notch to make removal easier.

Nice fit and finish. Easy to install. Adds some personality to your bike. Probably not an item for weight weenies (there are lighter top caps around) but a great design that stands out from your typical black top cap.

I went for this headset top for one main reason: I sweat a lot. I am optimistic that by replacing the stock original with this stainless steel upgrade, that I can avoid future corrosion. I smear some grease onto the bolt head and cover it with the decorated cap. I was pleased to discover that I was not able to pick the cover off with my fingernail, so it will not pop out easily. I had to use a piece of tape to lift it out to work on (adjust) the headset.
