I have no way to test the strength, but this strap is much thinner than any of the straps that came with my cam buckle tie downs.

This spool of webbing is exactly what I was looking for! I needed it to make a few extra staff sacks for my camping gear. Thin enough and weave is dense enough that I can sew it and onto the fabric easily without being bulky. Consider this as a thick version of grosgrain ribbon. This would hold up well with eyelets, too, because of the finer weaves.I am not sure if I would use this product for something that sits in the prolonged sun and other element exposure, though. If that's what you are looking for and no sewing involved, you should look something else.NOTE: I did buy a few spools of coarse and thicker material first because the descriptions sounded good enough. They didn't do well sewing, punching holes for eyelets, or burning/melting ends. So, find a reviewer who did what you want to do and make sure the product is return-able before ordering them just in case!

I've been around nylon webbing/straps all my life. It was always rough. This webbing was like working with thick silk. I expected to have trouble sewing through it, but I was totally wrong. Easy to sew through. Using it to make a walker bag for a friend. Using this webbing is going to add a professional look to the bag.

Thinner and smoother to the touch than the rotted Nylon it replaced but seems strong and works with the old nylon strap buckles/adjusters.
