Beautiful light fixture! Light bulbs illuminate the entire stone with a more concentrated beam coming out of the bottom of the light. I love the small crackles and lines from the marble. It was a little frustrating finding the right length light blub for this light. Luckily, I was able to find it at a local lighting store. This light is very heavy so make sure it is installed somewhere solid!

This pendant light fixture arrived ready for installation.The Spanish marble is stunning and the build quality of the fixture is excellent.Fit and finish is impeccable. I ordered the gold one and it's beautiful.Installation is simple and if you've ever installed a light fixture there are no surprises here.The bulb socket is a standard E26 so you can use any type of light you would like, including a dimmable LED in conjunction with a dimmer switch.The heft of the thing is impressive and the light is gorgeous! Highly recommended

Assembling this light was quick and easy. The alabaster shade came with pre-drilled and reinforced holes and fits snugly into the socket portion. The alabaster piece I received is completely white, free of chips or cracks, and appears to be high quality. Most of the metal components have the same finish, though the part where the cord runs through is a noticeably shinier black. At this price point, a dimmable LED bulb would have been appreciated.

I was excited to receive this pendant light by CJY CHENJINYAN. The solid alabaster shade seemed like a very upscale and intriguing feature.Unfortunately, once I unboxed everything and inspected the parts closely, there were some issues. The shade had a chip in the stone along one edge that had been filled with wax, and this quick repair was pretty obvious - and not so "upscale". Also, the shade is very heavy, and this puts a premium on proper and secure installation - otherwise a block of stone will be falling onto a surface (or person) below.The metal cap of the light attaches to the shade with two screws. Even when you tighten the screws as tight as they will go, the cap rocks back and forth. This could create some problems with how the light hangs if there are any irregularities in your ceiling (out of level, etc.). In my opinion, the light should have been designed with a four screw attachment system to eliminate this issue.To be fair, this is a beautiful, fairly stylish pendant light, but for the price ($159.99 at the time of this review), it doesn't quite deliver.

I really like the style of this and the quality of the metal and marble are quite good. The picture shows the light hanging from the cord, but I'd really not recommend that as the cord doesn't seem like it's strong enough to support it long term. Instead the metal tube should be directly connected to the ceiling plate or a matching chain should be added if you need it to hang longer.

I think this is a good looking light and I love the styling. That being said, I do have two strong reservations about it.First, this pendant light contains a lot of stone and is quite heavy. I weighed the stone shade and metal fixture, and my scale put it at five pounds five and five eights ounces (2.426 kilograms). It’s so heavy that I’m afraid that if it comes lose from the ceiling, or if the shade separates from the fixture, it could fall hard enough to crack my expensive stone countertops. Further compounding this problem is the fact that the shade is only held in place by two very short screws.Second, there were many visible machining marks left on the stone that I think should have been polished out. They are visible in my photo if you look carefully. Perhaps some people will not mind or notice them, but I think they detract from the quality of the lamp.I was very excited to get this lamp. And while I still think a lot of people would be very happy with this product, I do not plan on hanging it in my kitchen.
