First off, this unit does not match the original grill. The BMW one has black sides to the fins and chrome on the edge, these are just all chrome which comes of a looking cheaper.The real kicker for me was that the curve of the part did not quite match the curve of the front of the hood. So, when mounted, one side or the other would not sit flush with the metal of the car. Combined with the not quite original all-chome finish and these were clearly cheap aftermarket parts. I returned them. 😕

The grill in my old 2001 330 broke off and I was really happy to find a nice looking replacement at an inexpensive cost. The black looks really sleek on it and has breathed some new life into it. Next up is to replace the emblem.

Kidneys fit nicely and were simple to install. If you inspect closely, you can see imperfections in the painting, but overall it is worth the $36 I paid to replace the originals with the broken clips. No more concerns of arriving to my destination with a missing kidney.

I bought this set with low expectations to replace my OEM grill which was falling apart and getting loose. I thought, not much to lose. They actually turned out to fit and look great. Just one tip-- when installing, be sure that you are correctly positioning the tension clips to be in contact with the end of the hood notch. There are a lot of Youtube guides you can find online to help you with it. Otherwise, they will just be totally loose and not fit correctly.

Plastic mold isn’t as straight as it should be, the clips don’t line up like oem. Product is wiggly. Had on car for over half a year.Hasn’t faded. Just wish the fitment was better.Update: the grill lasted about 1 1/2 years, it began to fade, and I had a slat crack, no evidence of impact. I ended up buying a better made product and replaced this grill.
