The globes are about as good of a value as you could hope for. I had 2 blow off my antique English pawn streetlights, about 10 ft. high, & shattered when they hit the ground. I ordered 3 replacements, so I would have a spare. One of those arrived with a crack in it. About 2 inches long. They seemed to be packed pretty good. So, possibly shipped defective, just not noticed, or possibly cracked in shipment. ?? But decent for the price. They work. I would buy again.

It was perfect. I would recommend to customers to measure exactly the opening size for correct fitting. The first one I ordered was “almost “ the right size, but not quite right and would not fit.

An antique glass globe broke. Unable to locate one, I bought this. Pricey for molded acrylic but it should last a long time and looks great.

I bought four of these globes to replace some older one which were damaged here in our condo community. They fit our fixtures perfectly. They are sturdy and well built. They cost a bit more than the last ones we bought, but maybe that's just inflation. Glad I bought them, and I would buy them again.

Checked out exterior lighting on the web, and was disappointed with $100 price tag on the cheapest fixtures, so I bought some PVC caps, and 1" pipe, white spray paint, and some cheap lightbulb fixtures. Wow, it took a whole day, but now I have 5 assorted size globes (from American Plastics) hanging from points under my eaves. Looks great at night (and at Christmas). 100' of 14-2 wire was biggest expense other than the globes. Total expense of project was $180. American Plastics shipped one wrong globe, but they handled it immediately, told me to destroy the wrong item and I got the right one 5 days later. Great experience.
