These are amazing. I built a small deck 8'x10', out of 2x6 pressure treated boards, and used these (qty 10) to support each corner and then centers geometrically to evenly distribute the load. The deck ended up being rock solid, and has so far gone through½ of a Wisconsin winter without shifting.

The base is substantial. The picture includes the base and the top piece that will hold the lumber. There is a green piece that is threaded into the base so the top can be raised. The threads stand out about 1/4”. I like that part because that would allow me to build a floating deck on a slightly uneven location. All I have to do is add the lumber and use a level to make sure the deck surface is level. There are holes in the base that would allow it to be permanently bolted onto either wood or cement so the footings will be even stronger. I looked at other options for building a floating deck, like formed cement footings, but this system is both lightweight and convenient.
