These are no doubt great mantles, and the price is right, but LOOK CAREFULLY to ensure their compatibility with your lantern. I've got the standard, Coleman, 2 mantle, propane lantern and these DO NOT FIT. These are for something other than what I have. Again, if you can use them, they're a great buy, just be sure you can use them before ordering.

This is a review of the HAIFAFAFAING Gas Lantern Mantles. These mantles are double-ended type mantles for use with propane lanterns like the Coleman NorthStar 1500. As such, the mantle has two ends, with the clips already attached, and they ready for installation. The manufacturer states that the mantles are a 3-layer design and are made of rayon material. They also state that the mantles are “thorium-free” which makes them significantly less bright than those mantles that have been thorium treated.Thorium is an element that exhibits incandescence when heated to the temperatures experienced inside the mantle when the propane gas burns. This makes the light produced quite bright and very white. Because of the minimal radioactivity of the Thorium, it has been simply removed from most gas lamp mantles. The Thorium could be replaced with Yttrium which would give similar results without any radioactivity, but very few manufacturers will do this.These mantles appear to be well made and are certainly well packaged. The next time I use the Coleman NorthStar 1500 lantern, one of these mantles will be used.
