1,000 cards exactly. Many duplicates. One foil. None worth more than $.40 however. The total collection value is over $55Also came with only 3 basic land cards. And only mid range strength creatures. Will be using these cards to supplement my deck building. And to switch out cards in my existing decks

I started playing MTG back in early to mid nineties. Played until early 2000's and life moved on. So, a couple of months ago I decided to form a couple of decks to start playing again. I thought this box would give me at least one very good deck, but it didn't!From all the 1000 cards, I got six lands, no Rare nor Mythic Rare cards, loads of repetitions - I have a bout 33 Horizon Spellbomb, absolutely unnecessary!Most cards are very basic, the lesser cards you can get. To form a deck, you will have to buy a Land replacement package. Once you have Lands, you will be able to play with these cards, but don't expect much from your deck, as you won't be able to form a good one to be competitive. I don't know, it felt like I was scammed....For the money you pay for this box full of nothing, you can get a proper 2 Decks set that is ready to play. I ended up buying two ready to play decks, one regular and the LOTR set (which is absolutely gorgeous, btw!). An now I am stuck with 1000 useless cards. This will probably be a donation to the library in town. Smh!

I went through and cataloged every card from this box, the full list is below. I got a total of 1128 cards (comprised of 649 unique cards). There were a large number of duplicates (almost half the box with some cards like Claustrophobia of Axebane Stag having 10 copies of each). There was a fair number of double-sided cards so the numbers may be slightly off (+/- ~15 cards). In my full list below I have listed both sides of the card a separate cards.I'm new to MtG and this was a great way to start out. What I expected: reading the reviews I was skeptical, I was half expecting a box full of bad quality duplicate commons, 25x mudhole for rare and 5x protean hydras for mythic since I tend to have bad luck in life.What I got: pleasant surprise, as advertised I got the promised mythical and rare cards and they had good variety, my only gripe with the mythics was a conspiracy mythic which is only really useable when drafting that set- but the rest of the rares and mythics are of good value for the price of admission. I’ve included a picture for the keen eyed. The box had a good mix of uncommon & commons from as far back as ice age- mostly newer sets, there were multiple play sets of different uncommons and commons; all lands included were not basic ones. Overall I am satisfied.The good: worth the price of admission, fun to sort through and if you play EDH (commander for new players) this could be a nice starter kit to get you building with stuff you might not see at your LGS.The Bad: I didn’t like getting a card that can’t be used except in the conspiracy set during a draft- especially a mythic; but the art is cool on it so 50/50 right?The Ugly: the art on “Eaten by Spiders”I would recommend buying this if you...Are new to the game and want an instant collection of good variety.EDH player that wants to get some wacky new cards to build with.

Tons and tons of duplicates. Some good cards.**edit** I originally gave this seller a two star feedback before I had gone through all of the cards, but after about three hours of sorting, I've decided to knock off a star. I was hoping there wouldn't be as many as I thought, or maybe just a couple of duplicated cards, and I would be able to justify keeping the cards. But there was an overwhelming amount of duplicates, and the cards themselves weren't very impressive at all. The rares and mythics were subpar. Over half the box was composed of just duplicates (~549) over 4 or more, and even more than that were ones that came right up to four, which means the choices were extremely limited for deck building. I counted everything (just to see how mad I'd be). But I definitely wouldn't suggest anyone buy this. It definitely isn't worth the 20 useful cards -- because even some of the mythics & rares were useless. All in all, I'm extremely unsatisfied and will be sending my cards back and looking for a better seller. Save yourself the trouble of hours of counting and do the same.**edit no. 2** I decided to see if I could at least just get my money back the easy way instead of hashing it out with some customer service person, and looked up the prices of the cards. The majority of the common and uncommon cards are completely worthless, and the rares and mythic rares that initially interested me are worth about 10 cents each. When I looked up about 10 of them and they all came back with the same price, I started getting a little suspicious.We also finished counting them all, and were short about 20 cards.Do not invest in this scam. It is not worth the amount paid for it, in money or stress.
