I got this for my wife who does a lot of arts and crafts and needed a battery powered glue gun for when she is at a craft show. She loves this glue gun. It works very well. After being told it works well, I tried it myself as well to fix a few small items around the house. I left it to heat up for about 3-minutes. I have to agree it works very well. I left it on to see how long the battery would last. After a continuous 30-minutes, it was still working fine. Just keep in ind it will spill a little glue if left unattended for a while, which is typical for all glue guns. The glue gun comes with many glue sticks and a charger, and was packaged well. Overall I am very happy with this.

I'm assembling a nice collection of tools that run on these generic 20V batteries and saving a lot of money compared to the brand name stuff in the home centers. This glue gun came with a 1A charger, 2AH battery, and enough glue sticks to last me a long time. I really like the adjustable heat as it allows me to get the glue just hot enough to place a single drop where I need it to temporarily hold things in place, or I can crank up the heat so the glue is runny and stays that way while I clamp together more permanent bonds. It's comfortable, the temperature display is big and bright so I don't need glasses to see it, and I like the little red LED that flashes when it is heating and stops flashing when it has reached the desired temperature.

This is a pretty nice glue gun. Having one that's cordless is even better. I'm always trying to finagle the cord out of the way so I don't glue it to my project, so this is really helpful. It does take glue sticks that are a greater diameter than the ones I normally use, but that's not to big of an issue. I do have some larger projects where this would come in handy. Heat up time is about 2-3 minutes, the sparse instruction sheet mentions 4 minutes, which makes sense to assure it is fully heated. It works as well as any other glue gun but just having a USB rechargeable and cordless glue gun is just really nice. and the price is much lower than I would expect. It feels well made and durable, but only time will tell. I'll update this review if things change.

UPDATE 28th Feb. 2025: I have removed three stars. Despite my best effort, the battery I ordered was incorrect. Another reviewer helpfully pointed out the correct battery and, with the charger, they cost $57 - more than TWICE THE COST of this glue gun. I would speculate as to the reason for the lack of information regarding the battery requirements, but I won’t. I have faith in you guys though.**************************************************I find it frustrating and a little annoying that the glue gun comes without the battery but there is nowhere on the product page that tells you what type of lithium battery to get. I mean for the connections. I am going to go ahead and assume that the battery will also require a charger unless the idea is that we throw it away once it loses the charge. Yes I know but the sarcasm is warranted.Anyway, now that I have the glue gun, and can see the connections and the 20v note (see pics), I’ve ordered a battery. I will try the gun when it arrives and adjust this review accordinglyIn the meantime, it feels good in hand. It is light but that will change when the battery is installed. The glue stick holder is adjustable and with the glue stick in it feels very stable. I got 35 sticks of glue in the box. That’s odd - literally and figuratively. The bag with the glue was also torn and open so who knows how many sticks are actually included.I and my crafting supplies have high hopes for this glue gun. Stay tuned…

After working on top of a small building a month ago, and needing a glue gun for a few minutes, it would have been nice to pull this cordless one out instead of dealing with an extension cord. Never again, I thought, as I pressed the ORDER button.Shipment and delivery took just 2 days. Which was surprising because the package arrived 3 days earlier than estimated. Everything looked to be in good order. The gun's internal battery had a bit of a charge so I tried it out right away. This one uses glue sticks which have a larger diameter than the ones my long-time glue gun uses. But, no problem because they fixed me up with 30 sticks. On my experience with the glue sticks: The zip-lock bag containing the glue sticks had a defect and the closed end wasn't closed properly. This resulted in a good number of the sticks spilling out on to the table and floor. A sandwich-sized zip-lock resolved that issue. YMMV.I checked the amount of time that elapsed before glue was flowing from the gun's tip. It was around 2 minutes. The instructions recommend 4 minutes of warm-up time. These times are longer than my plug-in gun.Otherwise, the convenience of not having a cord to deal with will be partially offset by the size of this gun. The tip is also broader and will have more difficulty in getting into tight spaces. So, there are some trade-offs involved in order to ditch the cord. The instructions are a rather odd collection of poorly written (translated?) warnings at the expense of useful info. It seems to me that clarification might be in order. Basically, charge it, insert glue stick (slight effort required), slide power switch to ON, wait 4 minutes, dispense glue by pulling trigger. Don't burn yourself or anything else. Allow the gun to cool fully before putting it away. The trigger "pull" is adjustable by means of a screw and jamb nut which adjusts the position of the trigger relative to the handle. (Similar to the way some hose nozzles operate.)

Received a used product. Upon receiving the box that has absolutely no pictures on the box which had a hole on the side, which was due to the gun part sticking out. Didn’t received all glue sticks inside of a ripped bag. Glue gun still has glue all around the tip where it gets hot at.. I’m gonna try to use the gun. Updates later
