I have been using this device since 2017 on quite serious jobs. One of them flies a single-engine piston aircraft. Everything works for us - roll, pitch, yaw, overloads and angular velocities.On one of the objects, a motor planing boat, there are periodic failures that look like an unjustified increase in the pitch value. There are no complaints about the sensor manufacturer, since we understand that it is impossible to make a universal Kalman filter for all types of noise at once.In terms of price/quality ratio, this is the best device.

I needed a way of finding the value of an angle at boot time, for a stepper motor, which is currently connected on an arduino mega. I was a bit worried about lack of YouTube videos on this chip, but I took the plunge and I'm glad I did.I used an older library I found online (google JY901.h) and connected the device using the serial option and it just works! WIT Motion also has a github repository with recently updated libraries and examples, but I saw this after I got it working with the older library.One thing I wanted to flag here is the accuracy of this chip. Unlike other gyro chips that give you a bunch of random readings from time to time (and you have to take the mean of a bunch of values etc) this is pretty reliable without frequent false readings.I'd buy it again.

Work as expected on raspberry. You can directly connect it to the gpio despite the doc show an USB external uart.
