This 5 lb propane tank will be perfect for our upcoming Jeep overlanding build. I've been looking for a mount and this one fits the bill.

Very sturdy metal. Does what it is intended to do and keeps my 5lb propane secure on my vehicle. Couple of things that this product can improve upon is the metal strap. The metal strap that is included is very difficult to use and not convenient for quick install and removal of the propane tank at the campground. I solved this by using a velcro strap instead. The other thing that could be improved is better placing for the screw holes. The current placement of the holes are in the middle where the propane tank makes contact with the screws. I had to drill screw holes closer to the edges where there is a gap between the propane tank and the metal frame.Overall this is a good product. Secure and low profile design. What I was looking for.

This propane bottle holder is easy to install and has a very strong design that keeps your bottle perfectly secured. The hose clamp is large enough to fit around the bottle and hold it tightly in place. The design of the frame is great, and the coating will resist rust and corrosion. This is easy to install and priced well for its quality.

I've been using these for my two 5lb propane tanks for a while, now. They are great if you don't need or want the typical 20lb rv tank, but still need a little gas to cook or heat with.These units are complete and made from thick steel, and mount in several ways using pre drilled holes and included hardware.The metal band is okay, but it takes some getting used to when releasing and tightening it back up due to the clasp that must be undone, first.I also added a material similar to non slip tape on steps, so the propane tank wouldn't scratch the pain off the bottom of the holder.Definitely something all TV people need, even if you're just carrying a apart tank for emergencies.
