I use these in my unifi firewall and I have no issues with them they provide them fast speed and do not break down I would highly recommend

This adapter is fantastic if your network is not comprised of a single 'speed' of adapters. My hodge-podged together home network has 1gbps, 2.5gbps, and 10gbps devices, so something like this that can actually change speeds according to the device is great.It does run hot, but all of these RJ45 transceivers do... just be aware and make sure there is adequate airflow.

I had a network conundrum that these NBASE-T transceivers solved. Long story long is outlined below, but long story short is that if you need 2.5G connections from an SFP+ port, this is one of the rare copper transceivers that can run at that speed.My network has a pair of Deco Wifi 6 mesh routers and a multi gig WAN connection. Each of my Decos has one 2.5g port and one 1G port, and wired backhaul is supported over either port. This setup is a bit odd, as either a multi gig modem can be passed to this mesh or a multigig backhaul can be established, but not both. This means either the WAN gets capped at 1G (realistically 900Mb), or the mesh connection gets limited to 1G... Using wireless backhaul is not an option since it doubles the traffic over Wifi and won't get multi gig speeds unless the bases are close enough together where the satellites don't really add any range.Since I'm using my own router and both units are essentially WAPs in my network, I wired the units together through a QNAP 2.5G/SFP+ unmanaged switch and this worked... sort of. Since Decos are meant to be plug and play, they use loopback detection to disable wireless backhaul and enable wired backhaul... there is no way to set a default for wired backhaul in these units. This takes about 2-3 seconds. My unmanaged QNAP switch has loop-back detection and that takes about 2-3 seconds to disable offending ports. This means whenever the power goes out, I need to unplug and replug Deco drops in the QNAP until the QNAP takes longer to detect a loop than the Decos.That's my only 2.5 switch, and I didn't want to buy yet another switch to solve this problem. Though I have plenty of unused SFP+ slots in my two managed switches (where loopback detection can be disabled), most copper transceivers are 10G (10M, 100M, 1G, 10G) and not NBASE-T (100, 1G, 2.5, 5, 10), so most transceivers would cap my 2.5 connection to 1G.These copper NBASE-T transceivers allowed me to wire my 2.5G WAPs together through the SFP+ ports in my managed SFP+ switch... which doesn't even support 2.5G connections and was built before this speed existed (It shows this as a 10G connection). Now my network reboots without issue and I'm reliably getting 1600-1700 Mbs down on my AX wireless devices from the satellites (vs 300 using wireless backhaul or 900 over GigE backhaul).Make sure your SFP+ unit is somewhat premium if you plan on using several of these. All 10G copper transceivers run hot and these are no exception. Not all switches are built to handle multiple copper transceivers and an off brand (read: fake Intel) NIC will get absolutely toasted with these. Since most SFP+ module manufacturers charge $10-$15 extra for copper NBASE-T over copper 10GBASE-T, these are the most affordable NBASE-T copper transceivers I've seen in a while.

In spite of what the "color" selection says, this module really is 10G. I plugged it in, slapped the RJ45 from my computer into it, and was getting 9.99 Gbps immediately, according to iperf between my computer and my router. The connection remained stable through several tests (I have tried one where the connection did not remain stable), and consistently returned high speed results.As a nice bonus, this module comes in a very nice rigid container with custom fit foam padding.It's worth noting that I did have to set my MTU on the router and computer to a higher value than the defaults to obtain this speed, which is generally not recommended in a mixed speed environment where some devices may not have the higher MTU. I have not seen any issues from this configuration, but YMMV. Without the higher MTU's, I was "only" seeing around 7 Gbps, which still isn't bad, but not the full speed this module is capable of.Overall, if you have a multi-gig RJ45 device, and need to plug it into a SFP port, this module will get the job done, and is well worth considering.

Works good but to be fair I only tested to speeds up to one gig because of my equipment, even though it’s compatible to up to 10.This worked well with my Emulex 10gig card without issues. For the price, it’s a pretty good value but I’d be more likely to order again if it went on sale.

i have many mikrotik switchs, all of them work well with the module out of the box. i was able to pull a full 10gbps speed. 30 meter is fine for a normal house hold, since this is what is rated for.
