When I tried it in the door it was smaller than the original ones. It fit in the door hole but wasn't tight in the hole and just spun around. Make sure you order the right size, just because it says universal doesn't mean it fits all models.

I Am Amazed at How Subaru took parts used 50 years ago on A Buick and Used Them on Their 2014-2017 Foresters as Door Bumper Stops. I Had An Extremely Difficult Time Finding This Part That Fits A 1971-72 Buick Riviera Fuel Door a.k.a. License Plate Bracket Bumper Stop That Didn't Cost $13 Each. This Item Was 10qty. For $7 Total & Is A Great Price. It mounts on chrome bumper and keeps fuel door(license plate) bracket from smacking the metal bumper after fueling the vehicle.
