I got this and use the cable for my grandsons teenage mutant ninja turtles as a zipline between "buildings" use the chain to make nunchucks and other weapons. Both are holding up very well for a 6 year old boy. Lol

These are great scale accessories for any 1/10 crawler. You do have to assemble them yourself, but veteran hobbyists should have no problem. The accessories are very scale looking, though the chain may be too shiny. Some aging would do wonders to make the chain look more realistic. I do recommend locking compound on the little screws. I haven't lost one yet, but it is always a good idea on fasteners that small. All in all, a great addition to my trail rig.

I installed these rescue hooks on an orange crawler from my collection. My vehicle has a black plastic bumper. This worked out perfectly for the project. I simply placed the mounting plates where I wanted them and used a small drill bit to make some holes. There is a lot of plastic on the backside of my bumper, so the screws stayed securely without the need for the nuts to hold them in place. I had to be very careful not to lose anything during installation since there are no extra parts and some of the pieces are very tiny. I was able to get everything installed correctly, and it came out looking really nice.The entire process took me less than half an hour to complete. It comes with a chain and a wire. I think that the wire will work well in a wench. I don’t have a wench on this vehicle, so I’m mostly using the chain. These accessories add a level of detail to the crawler that makes it look more realistic. The parts are also functional. They are useful during rescue operations. I’m very pleased with how everything came out. All of the parts are of good quality, and I think that they will be applicable in a wide range of RC applications.
