I'm not sure what I was expecting, but these are REALLY thin and flimsy. If you are putting them down on concrete, these will not offer any kind of padding whatsoever. The adhesive seems to be sufficiently sticky. I haven't applied them all yet, as my initial idea for them no longer works how I imagined it. I'll update this when I find a suitable use for these.

One of our bathrooms has a door that leaves almost zero clearance from the floor. I have tried several different rugs, layouts, etc, and still, none of them are able to stay down due to the door. Would I rather there be a nice, thick, memory foam bath mat? Of course. But in this bathroom, it’s not an option, and this is a good substitute. And, since I’m not a fan of the ceramic tile floor that the previous owner put down, it makes for a great surface for these tiles to stick to.The tiles have an uber sticky back; simply peel off the clear backing and apply to a clean surface. Be careful, however. Once it’s down…it’s down. Draw on your floor in pencil first if you have to; just make sure you know exactly where the carpet needs to go before you press it down. I think it’s a fair deal for what you get. Only time will tell how long they last.

A very good adhesive backed carpet tile. The adhesive is strong, but left no residue when you removed the tile. Easy to cut, and cuts cleanly. Two issues kept me from a five star rating: first, within the package of eleven tiles, there was a slight variation in color between tiles, so that if you are placing them to get a solid single color, you needed to first lay a test pattern (without exposing the adhesive) to make sure the different tiles did not highlight those color differences. Second, when you are ready to install the tiles, the protective film over the adhesive is very difficult(!) to separate from the adhesive. Careful use of tweezers was necessary, and took a number of tries each time.
