Fun set of glow bracelets appealing to children of a wide variety of ages. Bracelets are made of a hard plastic construction and therefore do not size adjust to different size wrists. The lights emanate from a small uniform insert along the hard outer band which illuminates the colored plastic in the adjacent ring. Some of the fit between this lighting portion and the hard band is finicky and may result in dislodgement of the illumination source.

I wouldn't get these bracelets again. They're pretty cheaply made, the switch is hard to use, they're big for kids, and they're easily breakable. They're ok for older kids as party favors or cheap "treasure chest" style items, but there are probably better options out there.

We do a lightshow with lights synchronized to music for Halloween and we have the nickname "The Lighthouse" in keeping with this theme, we don't give out candy for Trick or Treat - we give out LED light up trinkets.Rather than getting them all at once, we get them over time. This gives us a chance to inspect them and see if they will work well as a Halloween Treat. We usually have a huge assortment of items. Some kids get overwhelmed with the choices. These are wonderful - Basic light up bracelet available in a number of different colors. The light effect is quite nice. Based on our past experience, this is going to appeal most to pre-teen girls. But kids always surprise us and we could see most any kid selecting these. They are what I refer to as Party Favor quality. At this price point these are not intended to be an heirloom bracelet that will last for generations. These are well made for what they are. A kid will get a few days of fun out of these. With any sort of reasonable care they should last a while. These are a good value for what you're getting. We really like these and are looking forward to what the kids will think.

The glow stick light bracelets are made of a hard plastic material The plastic feels durable and sturdy. The bracelets have a very bright light in the dark (see picture). The light mechanism comes apart so the bracelets easily fit over your wrist. Taking the bracelet apart and putting it back together could be challenging for a youngster. These aren't glow in the dark bracelets, but operate using a sliding switch. They light up in daylight and darkness. They are a fair product at a reasonable price.

These are simple and enjoyable for kids. I personally got them as a party favor/goody bag favor for my 5yr old's birthday, but I can see many uses - Easter baskets, Valentine's, reward box at school. They are also individually wrapped. I also got more to bring on our camping trip over summer. We have kids between ages 5 - 15 and all of them will enjoy them. The picture is on my adult wrist, so it might be slightly big on a child, but I don't see it sliding off, so that shouldn't be an issue. They are a little wonky to get on - the plastic piece (the light) come off completely unless it's on and snapped into place. One it's on your wrist, it's secure and shouldn't come off. They are a hard plastic all the way around, but again, kids won't care. The light really only glows on one side, so it's like half of the bracelet glows. At night (think block parties, camping trips at night, etc) they will definitely stand out and add a little excitement for the kids. At less than 1 dollar a piece, they're worth it (I already purchased a second set!)

These bracelets are made of a brittle hard plastic and the section with the LED light is easily removed from the bracelet and it is also made from a hard plastic. It has three small button batteries in it and if the plastic case was to be broken then the batteries could easily come out and be an ingestion hazard for children. To turn on the single LED light requires moving a small hard plastic switch that is difficult to move. I do not feel comfortable giving this to any young children.

These light up bracelets are pretty cool and will be a hit with kids. However, they feel like 99 cent store quality, and they're not big enough to fit any kids older than 6. If you drop one of these from an adult height, there is a 50/50 chance it'll break apart, but considering that there's 12 bracelets in the package, the pricing may be competitive with something available at target or walmart.
