just like the original. It worked OK.You need to know how to install. one flat edge has a small notch on the end. It needs to be up. as handle needs to be up when removed (to get to handle set screw).

Excellent replacement for MOEN showers. I put it in my moen shower valve and it fits perfectly and moves very smooth as well. It fixed my hot/cold inconsistencies immediately. Would 100% recommend.

As the headline states: Fits And Works PerfectlyI replaced a 25 year-old cartridge that was leaking with the handle in the off position. I can only hope this cartridge lasts half as long. With all that said I recommend purchasing a core puller for easier installation. It's still going to take lots of force to remove the cartridge, but I can't see any other way as pliers will not work on old stuck cartridges. Additional advice is to take lots of pics during disassembly as there's lots of parts that install a certain way. Note the position of the temperature geared ring so you don't need to readjust the temp.Other than that the new cartridge installed easily once greased up with the supplied grease.

The shower faucets in my house all are hitting the age where the seals are breaking down and I have to replace the cartridges. I have a total of 4 showers and they all use the same cartridge. Buying the name brand ones from the big box store would cost me an arm and a leg. Thankfully I was able to find these that are a fraction of the cost. The biggest difference I found is that name brand ones are made with more metal in them so they will probably last longer. Where as these have more plastic internal parts. Even with the lower build quality than the OEM parts these are still a fantastic replacement and I have used several of them with no problems. I would almost prefer having to replace these more often and spend less money rather than having a single cartridge sit in the faucet for over a decade because they get harder to pull out the longer they have been in there.Installation of these cartridges is pretty straight forward, but depending on how corrosive your water is and how long the previous cartridge was installed will determine how difficult the process is. I will say make sure you have the appropriate cartridge removal tool and make sure you clean any corrosion or sediment before reinstalling the new cartridge. Without the removal tool you will really struggle getting the old one out. Then when installing the new one if there is any resistance putting the new one back in then make sure the faucet is clean. I made the mistake of trying to apply more lube and just push harder. I spent a lot of time then fighting to get it back out.Overall these were a fantastic value and were a perfect replacement for my Moen Shower Faucets.

It leaks! I thought I might be my plumbing. But I replaced this cheap one for a better one and stop leaking. Bad quality/design.
