The part was very easy to install and worked smoothly for just over a year. At that point it began to stick, which made it difficult to control the flow. I was able to disassemble it and re-grease the internals to restore smooth function. Not sure if the original Moen part used different grease, but that one lasted for over a decade.

My dad was ready to call a plumber when we had to shut off the water to the sink. I ordered this online and looked at online instructions before it came.
