Our driveway is in a funky spot so this could not be more perfect. Its concave so you can see more of the road than if it was straight. Its not made of glass so it will be very durable. I makes pulling out of the driveway 100% safe. So IMO its worth its weight in gold~!

When I first opened the box I was surprised that the contents felt so squishy; it felt like an oversized silicone implant. But it was actually a convex mirror; a plastic, highly flexible mirror. Theoretically, there is nothing wrong with a plastic and squishy mirror; it cannot be cracked or chipped by flying gravel from roads, and its light weight makes it less prone to gravitational slippage, and it is much cheaper to produce and hopefully cheaper to purchase.However, the one big problem with plastic mirrors is that they can be scratched easily. This is why they are shipped with a plastic wrap over the mirror to protect it from scratches. When I saw all of the scratches on the mirror, I thought 'Well it sure is a good thing that these scratches are on the covering wrap and not on the mirror.' There was even a sticker on the mirror telling me to remove the protective wrap after the mirror has been mounted.So I looked for an edge of the wrap that I could grab so that it could be peeled off. But I could find no edge. So I removed the four screws holding the 'mirror' in it's casing, and removed the mirror. I looked for any sign of the protective plastic wrap, only to conclude that there was none. So all the hundreds of scratches and permanent rub marks from transportation were now a permanent feature of this mirror. Many of the rub marks where the mirror had rubbed against the box during transport are so bad that there is virtually no reflectivity left to be seen in that area, meaning that there are now complete blind spots in the mirror. Also, the sticker that tells me to remove the protective wrap is not a removable sticker; I peeled off as much as I could, but most of the sticker is still there. Trying to completely remove it will only scratch the mirror even more.If the mirror had arrived with the protective wrap, therefore free from blemishes, I may have given this mirror a five star rating even though it is super light weight. Clearly, because they had placed the sticker on the mirror, it was believed that the mirror had already been fitted with the protective wrap. However, due to the apparent lack of quality control that allows mirrors to be shipped (and labeled) without actual protection, I can only justify giving this mirror a rating of one star. Hopefully other customers will not have a similar experience.

Horrible, mirror cam badly scratched and spot in middle doesn't even reflect. Packaging also bad. Please do not buy from this brand.
