They won’t work as you may intent it to, the plastic. Is brittle and won’t dig into the ground. Waste of money but metal ones

They work good on firm ground. When the ground gets rain saturated, they pulled out. I was using them on Halloween and Christmas inflatables.

These are great for soft terrain where normal tent stakes can pull right out.Just twist them down into the ground. If the ground is too firm to twist by hand they come with a thin metal stake that can be used as a lever to spin the orange plastic stake into the ground.BUTThe diameter is too big to go thru the small corner holes of the tent itself. This isn't an issue for my freestanding tent, but it might be for you if your tent base has to be staked down to assemble it.They are nice and light as well. 0.6 ounces (19 grams).Overall I recommend these tent stakes.

Stakes that generally come with a tent do an okay job, but they are flimsy and can easily bend if a rock or root is accidentally hit. These stakes are great! They are strong and sturdy. The feature that I like the most about them are the grooves in the stake. It helps anchor it into the ground. The way the stake is designed also makes it easier to twist the stakes into the ground. If you go camping regularly or need to stake something down, this is a great product to have handy.

These light weight screw in tent spikes are good for any tent or tie down. They are a good 8-9 inches. Screw in easily. They have an eyelet to help tie down or put your rope through. These are very functional. Even when I thought they were about to break they had just enough give and did not. A great alternative and value for your money.

I used these on a backpacking trip on the AT this fall. They saved some weight as they are much lighter than the stakes that the tent originally came with. Fairly easy to get in and out of the ground, but it is some added time to screw these into the ground and if you've chosen hard ground it's almost impossible. So choose wisely where you set up camp. It was worth it to save the weight.

What I like:The stakes are incredibly strong and do not deform easily, if at all, providing effective and reliable support.The innovative design is a nice departure from the old-school stakes we had to pound into the ground. With these, you just twist into earth in a corkscrew fashion. That means less wear and tear on the product for longer service life.12 stakes are plenty for most tents, even many larger, multi-room designs.What I don't like:The product is great, no complaints here.I would certainly order this item again.
