The silver spikes are almost triple the weight of the black spikes. Hopefully, the black spikes are carbon steel. The silver spikes clearly are not. The Silver spikes weigh 1.33 grams each, while carbon spikes are supposed to weigh .47 grams per spike. The black spike weigh .4 grams each.

The silver ones are excellent . they outlast the black ones 4 to 1 . The black ones are garbage .
