These are nice jacks for the smaller, inside scaffold used by painters and plasterers. It is not long enough or strong enough for outside scaffold, my outside jacks are much beefier. The screws are solid, which makes it better than the cheapie style jacks that form the screws from tubing. Those have way less strength and are easier to dent when hit. Screw jacks get hit more than you think.I do wish the ears were at least twice as long, they are so stubby they almost require a hammer to turn them.Overall they're good, and certainly better than most. Good price too.
