i am highly disappointed with these shocks. installed on my 2001 Honda Rubicon 500FA and with even no spring tension set on them they refuse to compress even with a large 350 lb man trying.

The welds broke on one shock and caused my swing arm to twist sideways and pop out of place. Lost the swing arm bolts and bearing when it happened. All of this happened after only 3 rides on them.. Please contact me to resolve this issue.

Fits perfectly onto my 2003 Honda TRX500FA. Put a little silicon grease onto the upper bushing to get them to slide into the mounting post. Upon installation they were extremely firm, so I dialed them back about 1/2" so the rear end would settle down when I climbed on. (Ordered Vmotor 32-76mm spanner wrench separately) No idea what the OEM shocks were like because I bought the machine well used, but I'm really happy with it's ride now.
