Its a very nice and sturdy cabinet. The assembly was simple and took me about 1 hour for both sides. the included accessories allow majority of the items needed to store to fit nicely and organized. the password lock is a little tricky to setup but the manual provide clear instruction. Included hardware if needed to bolt it down to the wall.

My Husband wanted a secure way to store a few more rifles, shotguns and pistols. This KAER 15-20 Gun Safe ended up being a great choice for our situation. I wanted to get this, and get it put together for his surprise birthday party. It’s worth mentioning up front — it arrives unassembled in two boxes and definitely takes a little time and patience to put together. The instructions could be clearer, and the parts aren't labeled, but once you know to compare the looks of the parts to the pictures, it gets you rolling and comes together fine. It took me about 2 1/2 hours by myself, but if it wasn't a surprise and my husband, we could have assembled it in less than half the time.Once assembled, it’s sturdy and looks great. I really like the dual locking system (digital keypad + keys). It's also very nice to have an external battery backup for the key pad. He likes to hear the beeping sound when he presses the numbers on the digital key pad, but it has the option of turning off the sounds, which is what I preferred. The adjustable shelf and removable drawer add flexibility depending on what you want to store. You should know that this is not a set of super heavy-duty fire-proof safes, but the door on each one weighs a lot and is very heavy but they do secure of each of the safes. My kids often bring our grandchildren over and I wanted to make sure they don't sneak into our bedroom and play with any of my husband's guns that couldn't fit in his other safes. It's also very nice to keep guests, or casual snoopers away from his firearms and does it's does it's job well. The fit and finish looks extremely attractive and the safes look very durable. I was pleasantly surprised on how nice the whole setup looks. In comparison to my husband's other safes, I think this one tops them all. Additionally, the finish is so nicely done that we made no scratches during setup, even with a few bumps.Pros:✔️ Sturdy build once assembled✔️ Dual locks (keypad + backup keys) for extra security✔️ Silent mode and low-battery backup via USB✔️ Adjustable shelves and separate locking drawer✔️ Good value for the price✔️ Sleek black finish, is strong and looks niceCons:➖ Assembly instructions could be a bit clearer➖ Definitely a cabinet for safety, not a heavy-duty fireproof safeOverall, if you understand what you’re buying — a good-quality gun cabinet, not a $1,000+ fireproof safe — you’ll probably be really happy, just are we are. It’s a great value for the price and is perfect for home firearm storage.

i really love this safe.. more like a glorified cabinet than a safe but still secures your firearms just the same. gets shipped in two pieces due to being so big. plenty of room. passcode is very easy to set up, comes with 3 sets of keys, two sets for door, drawer and back up keys for electronic lock. even comes with a emergency backup power pack in case the batteries in the lock are low or die. racks side racks are stationary but back rack is adjustable. small drawer underneath for extra storage. whereas i dont think this is fireproof at all, itll keep unwanted hands getting to them. and now the bad.. assembly is very frustrating. parts are not labeled, instructions are not very clear, pictures are small, you will be doing a lot of guessing. most parts only fit one way so that helps, the drawer has to have the sides bent to form, so make sure you get it right the 1st time, its just figuring them out. but once its together, its a great safe. worth the money imo and peace of mind too. def recommend, just remember youll need patience assembling

First let’s get out of the way what this is not. If you’re looking for a fire proof gun safe, this is NOT that.If you ARE looking for a gun safe that can make it hard to access fire arms without a passcode or a key, this IS that. I bought it for safety and quick access. It fulfills those needs.Assembly was not hard at all. Pro tip: use the videos here in this product description. They are WAY more helpful than the manual. Another pro tip. If you have a small hand drill it will save you a bunch of time. Although they do provide a nice screwdriver as well. From unboxing to the complete assembly of both cabinets, I would say it took 2 hours by myself. It was in enough pieces that were light enough to where I didn’t need help. There was enough space for my needs. If you are a hunter with long 28in barrels, you’re not getting more than two of those in the cabinet unless you remove the top shelf. I rolled the dice because I have a Model 12 and Wingmaster with long barrels and I could only get those two in with the shelf. If you remove the shelf I think you could get several of your longer hunting rifles in there. I was fully prepared to roll without the shelf if they didn’t fit but luckily those are the only two long guns I have and they fit.For smaller to medium rifles they will fit just fine with the shelf. Home defense firearms will fit in with ease (as you can see with the Mossberg). I have a Palmetto State Armory 300 Blackout that awkwardly fits in the corner. Just keep that in mind if you live in a state where you can have a shorter version of that platform. The pistol and magazine holders on the inside of the door is fantastic. I was able to use it to store five pistols and six magazines.Moving over to the smaller cabinet I pretty much use that for all my extra ammo, magazines and holsters. It does a great job. I can fit two Plano cases of ammo per shelf. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars are there are three sets of keys, which really should have just been one key for all three sections. The only other gripe is that you can see a dent that occurred in shipping. I didn’t notice any damage until I finished assembly. It’s not a dealbreaker but I certainly wasn’t thrilled when I finished assembling it, took a step back to admire the finished product and then saw a dent in the corner. All in all this is a great cabinet with plenty of storage. It was worth it considering a lot of safes out there are north of $1000.I wanted to write a review to especially address long rifle storage because the description was vague and I didn’t see any other customer reviews that addressed it.
