In New York State it’s cold in the winter I didn’t want to remove a cap in the cold weather to put air in the tire . When you live where it’s cold part of the year your tire pressure will get lower . So to avoid having an additional task when adding air to my tires I put these on they work great, I also give each one a tiny spray of a rust inhibitor on the inside so the spring cap works well I used Superzilla spray I’ve had really good luck with it and it seems to last a long time . I’m using the caps on brand new Nokian one tires all season on a Hyundai Tucson . I also carry a battery powered tire inflator in my car , I tried to use an inflator at a gas station once and it was spraying water which will in balance your tire pressure.

These on as easy as a valve cap and do not extend beyond the outside of the bead lock capable beauty rings.Makes adding or removing air very convenient.

Bought valve extensions to easier check and inflate tires on my Prius V. Installed 4 valves on Oct 7. On November 11, I I drove to a tire store with a self serve free air pump. Set the pump for proper inflation pressure. WHILE CHECKING AND INFLATING TIRES 3 OF 4 "METAL" EXTENSIONS BROKE OFF, SEVERED, CLEAVED, SHEARED IN THE PROCESS. I removed the remaining pieces of the extensions and put valve caps back on the original valves. When I sought to return the defective extensions, I found out there was a 30 day limit on returns and I had the bad extensions for 35 days. I have several valve extensions but I would not trust to put them on a small bicylcle. Another reason to boycott Amazon.

Pressure gauge does not work very well on them and I have to unscrew them off to pump up tires.

I was looking for a chrome tire stem cover that made it convenient to fill the tire with air due to a slow leak. This product did the trick. I can attach my air pump directly to the cover and top off my tire in no time. Super happy with this purchase. They look great too.
