Vehicle: 1997 Civic hatchback (DX). The OEM trailing arm bushings have a dismal design. As they fatigue, the trailing arm moves towards the rear of the vehicle when bumps are hit, inducing a momentary toe-out condition on one side. This is extremely dangerous at freeway speeds, particularly in the rain. My rear axle has skipped >6 inches when I've hit a bump on the tire that's on the outside of the turn, to the point I could see my car sway/roll when traction was regained. These bushings are vastly better than OEM, and eliminate this problem.
