I do really random crafting while following the adhd whims. leather, canvas, upholstery, mixed media, are all really likely to end up needing to be sewn during these things. Smaller more regular sewing too, and there was a while where I tried to do anything with the regular sewing needles and the more I get into it the more I realize that gauge (thickness), sharpness, length, and shape of needles make a really big difference depending on the material. Also quality, but that one doesn't change - it's just worth getting at least medium quality for everything. This was a really good variety pack for thicker longer needles, and I appreciate that. They work well for leather so far and I'm sure I'll try them on a variety of things during their shelf life.

These needles are great for projects where you need a long needle, such as to get through a pillow or stuffy. The eyes will accommodate any thread or yarn (up to worsted weight) I can think of. I really appreciate that they come in a tube with a tight fitting stopper, as these suckers are sharp (as they should be).

... but they bent easily and the tips are not the sharpest. Yes, those storage containers are very convenient. Yes, large eye for my poor vision. Bit they are very thick in diameter and not every fabric can handle it, I mean all sized are thick, not just the largest. Also, when my arthritis fingers can bent the needle while stitching just double layer of regular thin flannel... I consider to be looking for other brands.
