I hesitated buying this item after reading so many reviews saying parts were missing/holes didn’t line up/ instructions were difficult to follow. But, I had no issues at all putting this together. All parts were included, everything lined up perfectly and the instructions were on spot. I don’t want a 10 page instruction manual to put something together. Can’t comment on the composting efficiency, but we do have green and brown matter in it so we should know more once spring arrives.

the screws were VERY difficult to screw in and some of them are not fully in because they got stuck (I stripped the screwheads with my screwdriver trying to get them in all the way.) Oh well, it's holding together fine. A challenge to put together but worth it for my patio! Overall, satisfied.

This is nice and compact - it didn’t take long to assemble, and I like that it is small and tucks away easily behind my shed. It’s easy to turn and to add food scraps etc. I’ve already recommended it to my brother.

The directions were a bit difficult to figure out, but after an hour it came together. It’s the perfect size for singles wanting to compost for small gardens.

I purchased this specific item because of it's small size and where it was going to be located. This was the smallest tumbler I found and a decent price point. I'm new to composting so I didn't want to invest a ton and change my mind. Not to mention I have space limitations. I took a chance depsite the negative reviews, and I can see why there is frustration.I did contact support and they sent out the piece that was missing very quickly. I am a bit confused about the purpose of the N part that was missing. I have emailed their support team about it, and will update when I get an answer.Need a power drill - Numerous reviews will say that the screws don't fit. And I partially agree. UNLESS you have a drill. You can start putting the screws in with a manual screwdriver, but in order for you to complete the assembly, you have to have a power drill. If you don't, my question is, why don't you?Instructions are wrong - If you look at the parts list - there is a part N. I failed to see if that part was there when I started building. It's not needed. Here are the steps to follow for successful assembly:- Gather your patience.- I manual tightened all the screws and did not fully tighten until the end.- Follow steps 1 through 14.- Stick F through the middle of the barrel.- Put H on either side of the barrel - there's a hole in each side of F, so line it up with the hole on H and screw into place.- I put my barrel upside down and had the holes of H (where the stand parts go facing the sky)- Take one of the G parts and put both sides of it into H - line up the the holes of H and G, and screw in.- Put E into the hole of the G part you just screwed in.- This part takes a little juggling and if you have a friend to help, it makes it easier.- Put the other G part near the inserts of the other side of H.- Stick E into the hole of the other G part- Then stick G into the inserts of H - line up the the holes of H and G, and screw in.- At this point you have your composter assembled with the screws only partially in.- Use your power drill and SLOWLY screw the screws into place. If you try to go fast you will strip out the screws.- Your composter assembly is complete- Give yourself a high five, praise the Lord because He is good.As far as quality and durability - I'll have to update that after then next month to see how this baby holds up in full sun in temps around 106.

I have one of those single-bin composters that I bought last year but this dual bin is perfect! Much easier to use: opening is larger than other bins sold, making easier to put stuff inside, and to remove stuff when composting is complete. Easier to put together than the single-bin I got last year. This one is easier to spin too; the single-bin composter can be difficult to spin when it is getting full & damp/wet.An added plus is the company's Customer Service! I bought two and one was missing the little bag that had the assembly screws; emailed Customer Service and a representative called me right away: a REAL person! He apologized for the inconvenience and IMMEDIATELY sent me the little bag. Awesome customer service! (Thank you Customer Service!)I'm loving the use of my two bins now; going to buy two for my daughter too; the price is so good and the quality is too. I hope this is helpful for those who are trying to decide which composter to buy; I know it can be a tough devision. But with great quality, ease of use and assembly, this one is the best!

I read other reviews on this before buying, and I will say that those are accurate. In fact, other listing for products that are near identical to this warn of the same thing: the screws don’t fit. It was easy enough to put together until the last steps of trying to screw everything together—but again, every Amazon listing of a product like this says the same thing. With the help of my very patient dad, he actually was able to screw everything in completely by hand. The screw DO fit (even without a power tool), but you have to be VERY patient and very conscious about the screws going in straight.4 stars for the fact that the screws could’ve fitted better, but overall it seems sturdy and the rest of it was easy to build. We just put it outside, so I may come back to this review down the line after the compost we’ve put in has had the chance to do its thing. It also rotates without issue and is the perfect size for our household of 3.UPDATE 4/15/24:I’m keeping to my four start review for the fact that the screws are very heard to screw in completely and tightly. HOWEVER, after some help from my dad he was able to fully screw everything together as originally intended. He said it wasn’t easy, but he got it perfect! I’m not sure what his tricks were. A few months later, and I now have successful compost and have even bought a second one because I filled up my first one already. With the correct balance of things I’ve been putting into this bin, I had great luck with it. If I could give it 4.5 stars instead of 4, I would. Will update once we hit summer here to see how well it withstands that.
