very good quality chains and most important , was the heavier grade chain, took my time installing them and lubricated chain to improve movement and settling into tire treads . already seen snow use , and do a great job , glad i got them

I put these chains on my old Case 222. The tire size was 23x8.50x12.5. They were a perfect fit. I deflated the tires slightly before installation and re-inflated them after the chains were on. I will not be needing bungee cords or chain tighteners. These chains are a little heavy then the ones I took off, and those had lasted 15 years. I am pleased that they are 2 link. The ride is much smoother than my old 4 link chains. My order was delivered in two days.Great product.

I wasn't thrilled when I first received these chains as they didn't look as sturdy as the tractor chains they would be replacing. I had to work a little bit to get the chains on the tractor tires as they had a little more give to them so they slid around a bit. I did get them in place though and used my old security hooks and bands to ensure a good tight fit. We then had no snow to plow for over a month ~ haha! I have put them to good use these last few weeks though and have been very happy with the traction they have provided both in the snow and on the ice. I would recommend these chains without reservation.I own a Wheel Horse tractor and used the chains on those ~ I ordered by tire size without paying too much attention to the brand names that were listed.

These are heavy duty chains with very nice connecting clips that worked great and fit perfectly on my lawn tractor. They have a cross-chain every two links which are much more effective than the cheaper ones that connect every four links. I should have bought these five years ago, what a difference the chains made when I attacked the first snow storm of the season. No more slipping and sliding, no more plowing downhill only. I strapped these on and pushed massive loads of extremely wet snow anywhere I wanted. I even plowed a path across the lawn from the front door to the mailbox.

The chains arrived in record time and seem to be good quality. They worked great on our Gravely Tractor this winter in pushing snow with the blade. They gave our tractor great traction and were easy to install and to remove.

Chains fit well, are easy to install, and seem heavy enough for garden tractor use. I almost rated these a 4 since they seem to be a medium or regular duty chain, but I gave them a 5 since they are not advertised as a heavy duty chain. They are by no means weak and are working very well on my old 14 hp rear engine Gravely tractor. I would recommend these for lawn or garden tractor use.
