I ordered this product to help secure rental trailers from a popular national retailer. These are great quality standard couple pins that are 4 inches wide. These are bigger than what I was able to find at a popular bricks and mortar store in town. When I occasionally rent trailers for odd jobs, I'm no longer worried that the trailer will come off the ball. These pins do a great job.The two pack is a nice touch in the case that you misplace one (which I have done often).

Well darn - I was lazy and didn’t measure the opening for either of my trailers or hitch. I do have a tractor at a local farm where I’m hopeful these can be used with some of the attachments. 100% on me - I’ve included a couple pics in hopes of saving someone else the same issue. These are built strong and I know will work well.

These Heavy Duty Coupler Pins are great for my utility trailer and my lawn mower trailer. They are super easy and quick to install. I feel much better knowing that these high quality carbon pins are ensuring a safe and secure hauling experience.

First, this was not what I expected and can not use it. That is on me. Instead I'll review the product as provided for its intended purpose. This is a simple hitch pin that latches to avoid coming out. It is 3/8" thick, not 1/4" thick (which I use on all my trailers). There is not much to say. It is just like all the others sold with no obvious issues in quality or operation. So for the job, it will do fine and I would recommend it. Just make sure you understand your needs. I don't think this fits on a hitch receiver (too small). And I know doesn't fit on smaller utility trailers, trail dump trailer, or pontoon boat trailer. These require 1/4" pins. I suspect on larger trailers, you need a 3/8" pin, so this would work well. See pictures of the differences in my smaller hitch pin and this one.Recommend.

I had been using a bolt and nut to secure the latch on my trailer ball hitch. This is simpler, faster and accomplishes the same thing. Although the listing shows this pin being used to attach the ball adapter to the receiver hitch, I would never attempt that, nor would I suggest that anyone else try it...these pins just are not robust enough. To prevent the latch from opening once it is attached to the ball, it is fine...and much quicker for me. To attach the ball adapter to the receiver...no thanks.

I wanted to use these pins for a 2" hitch pin as shown in the manufacturers product description. Unfortunately, the pin diameter is on the smaller size, with a smaller pin diameter than the hitch's receiver. While the pins fit, there is slack in the connection and the hitch will rattle. Also, the smaller pin diameter makes me think it would be the weak link in our 10,000 lb tow system rating.I will find another use for these pins.
