I would say I use one of these kits every other year on my chainsaws or weed trimmer. This year it was my old 14" Craftsman chainsaw. All I used out of the kit was the metering diaphragm and the flapper valve sheet along with their corresponding gaskets. 95% of the time that is all you need to do to get it running good as new. As that diaphragm starts to stiffen your motor will have more and more trouble starting and running. If I still have trouble after that I will do a full rebuild, but you will want to watch some videos on how to do that to get it done right.These kits are economical, fit like OEM and work great.A+
