Put down along neighbors chain link fence to keep grass and weeds down. I DONOT like weed eating. Looks nice also. If it holds up over SD winter-snow and below freezing temps; I will add another roll. Easy to unroll and plenty of sharp long spikes included. Good product.

We purchased this product previously at one of the specialty catalogs which either offers a discount OR free shipping. With Amazon, we got the better price and free shipping. Love this border; stops the grass from growing into the bed. You can get black mulch to perfectly match the rubber multch.

Unrolling the coil of rubber edging was easy. It gives a clean edge, making it easy to mow close to the edge, removing the need to use a weed eater. It looks great. The only drawback is the plastic spikes bent or broke easily when encountering a rock several inches down in the dirt. I purchased some metal pins which worked much better, although they do not blend into the rubber edging. I purchased more to do other areas in my garden.

I purchased this item because I didn't have enough mulch to finish my project. The mulch that I originally ordered was no longer available, so I ordered this. This product is better quality than the first product that I ordered, came with strong color-coordinated staples, and was less expensive than the name brand product (which did not include staples).

We are in to native landscaping for insects and bees. We had gravel paths through the little prairie plantings. The gravel kept straying into the plantings so we used this rubber mulch to keep the gravel in and define the plantings. It looks wonderful, it is very easy to cut and install. It goes around curves and is the perfect edging, providing a wonderful contrast to the caramel colored gravel and multi colors of the flowers and grasses.

I am using these as an edging around the raised bed garden walk areas. The 10 foot strips are very easy to install -- I laid them flat on the patio the day before to straighten out the roll. They come with long garden staples (heavy duty with sharpened points) that are very easy to hammer in with a rubber mallet. I only 'lost' one of the staples when it encountered a rock but could straighten it out if needed. There were plenty of staples and had some left over. Used standard scissors to cut strips with no problem. Looks good, will keep weeds/grass from encroaching, let mower wheels travel on, and will hold a thin layer of mulch in. Will be ordering again for other future projects in my yard.

It is not as sturdy as I had hoped. Had difficulty placing it around my new metal raised garden. The included staple spikes bent and I had to dig a hole under each to pound into ground. Then I bought more to keep it flat. Ripped in places and some weeds growing through after only two weeks!
