I received two stiff nylon bristled brushes with a plastic scraper on the end. The bristles are firmly attached to an unfinished wooden handle. Tough to justify the $8 each price tag at the time of this review. The brushes serve their purpose but I'll need to put some sort of finish on the handles to prevent splinters.

This is a set of two lawn mower scrub brushes. They are 12.3 inches, have a stiff bristle brush and a Scraper on the end. This is been a constant problem around our house, the accumulation of yuck under our mower and how to get it off. (This is especially a problem if you mow wet grass.) When you're done you have a thick undercoating underneath your lawn mower. If you don't scrape it off it turns into hard shell, and rusts out your body. These brushes are great for getting the gook off. It's really good too that you get two brushes, one to keep and one to forget where you put it. (Seriously, we do keep one in two different places.) This is a nice product and it is made well.

These are good, strong brushes for really cleaning tough messes. I love wire brushes and scrapers for how aggressive they are, but there are a lot of things you cannot use them on, like teflon or other nonstick cookware, and painted or coated wires and grill shelving. These brushes can be used to clean those surfaces! Best of all, they do a good job of it--they're stiff enough to actually scrub at the caked-on crud, not just pet it or smear it around. Strong handles, and the scraper and bristles seem well anchored in the handles--I've not seen any shedding with them yet. Very happy.

These brushes are tough and built for real yard work. The bristles handle dried grass and grime like a champ. The added scraper is a good for stubborn buildup. Much better than using a stick!

I didn’t get these really to clean lawn mowers. I got these so that I could brush my clothes and and scraped the bottom of my shoes to make sure I’m not tracking ticks into the house from the garden. They’re very well-made and I do think they’ll hold up.

These brushes are a good value. They have two tools in one brush and they come in pairs, so they can used be for different things, and in different locations. The bristles are stiff enough for the mud and clay that gets stuck in tire and shoe treading. The plastic scraper on the tip is safer on more surfaces than a metal one, and it will get anything the bristles miss. I have one in a drawer by the front entrance for shoes and anything in the vicinity that it could be helpful with. The other is kept in the garage, mostly for the bike tires, but there's lot of random, applicable things that I can grab it for as well. Brushing the dust off of infrequently used tools, the work bench, and some shelving are a few examples that recently applied to me. I think they are good, multi-use, multi-feature brushes and I would want more of them when these wear out. Thank you for both of these worthwhile, highly versatile brushes.

These wire brushes are a must have for anyone that mows their lawn on a regular basis. They're made from great quality wood and metal materials making them strong and durable and easy to use without falling apart. You can brush off any stuck on mud or use the scraper to scrape off mud or wet grass or built up grass on the underside of the mower. These brushes can be used for many different things not just on a mower.

Got these for cleaning our electric mower & weed whipper & they’re working okay. The bristles are sturdy & remove caked on grass clumps pretty easily.The scrapers on the ends seem to work well, but no sure how long they’ll last. One of the scrapers arrived with a pretty large dent in the end of it, before I even got to use it. I think the plastic may be a bit softer than they should be.I like the solid wooden handles, though they may get splintery as the wood is completely raw & unfinished. Would’ve been nice if there were leather straps already installed in the holes, too. Now I have to track something down & fashion something myself.Other than those quibbles, these work fine. I just think there’s been some corner cutting in getting these out, so I’m not quite sure they’re worth the current price of $16.99 for two as they seem like only half-finished products.
