The wire connectors themselves are ok. I've no issues with them. My issues are with the storage box. It's very flimsy and wont stay closed on its own which rather defeats the purpose. The fact it arrives taped on every side shows that its an issue thats been identified already and glossed over. Surely buyers can't be expected to carry a roll of tape or elastic bands just to keep a box closed?!

These shells fit together well and include 'rubber' back-boots. they match with all of my 'better' connectors including A__ders0n.They contacts feature open wire loading (U-shaped crimp area) for larger conductors, unlike the 30A version which has a closed, cylindrical (O-shaped) crimp area.10-12AWG wire capable.

This style of connector has become my favorite. I love that it doesn't have a left or right, or a male or female, there's just the one plug which fits to itself. Over time I'll gradually convert my SUV's auxiliary 12v system to this style.The description says this connector works with 10-12awg wire. I had 14awg handy, so that's what I used. After crimping the terminal to the wire, I had a lot of trouble inserting the terminal into the plastic connector - it would only go a portion of the way in. It seemed that the part of the terminal, which crimps the bare wire, was too large (tall) to fit past something inside the plastic piece. So I flattened that crimp (see 5th photo) as much as I could and was able to insert it, though it was still quite difficult. Even though this was only 14awg wire, I'd guess this would be even more difficult with 12 or 10awg wire.I really like the options to stack them together, either side to side or one above the other. In the 4th photo I've scrapped off some of the coating on the terminal to verify that it is in fact copper underneath.I still like the connectors, but I'll have to try them again when I get some heavier wire.
