I am really impressed! We bought a new house and the pollen had covered the bottom of the pool. In several hours the pool was beautiful! Went up the walls with ease. It only cleans our pool one time before needing to be recharged, but given the quality, I can live with that.

I got the 2025 version of this which has three main differences from previous models:- The runtime is now 180min (up from 150min)- There is now an additional micromesh ultra fine filter within the main filter that traps sand/dirt/silt that the older filter did not capture- There is now app support which doesn't have TOO much functionality. You can adjust the mode (which you could do before easily with the button), and you can also download any firmware updates that get released (none so far as of today)I have a fairly simple pool (regular rectangle, 14'x28', steps at the end), and this Scuba S1 tackles it quite well, climbs the walls without tipping, scrubs the waterline, and follows a methodical pattern on the floor. Way better than the corded Hayward Shark XL that I had before (which was more expensive, mind you!), which would always flip upside down, tip when trying to climb walls, and cleaned quite randomly.

Oh my goodness finally a pool vac that cleaned my pool! This was the fourth... no no the fifth pool vac that I've ordered. and I've tried from way more than twice this price to one of the little cheapies. Our pool is quite small so I do have a very handy little hand vacuum that is totally easy to use… But I wanted to simply drop something in the pool most days and then come back to see it beautiful.Totally unhappy with any other than this one. One night, I left the really expensive guy run overnight in my pool, hoping to wake up to a pristine sparkling pool, oh brother, how disappointing. I live in Arizona… Sand is a huge problem and no other vacs seem to want to pick it up. Now, I don't worry about leaves or anything else... oh yeah, a few bougainvillea blossoms here and there, but I just scoop them up with my net. It's the sand on the bottom every day and every day.. And this little beauty, well I think I'm in love… Woke up this morning and I could have jumped straight in the pool if it were a couple degrees warmer :-) this is only the beginning of April. I'm gonna have to wait a couple weeks for that. Now my little girl Bria, my fuzzy little girl I mean, she gets in just about every day Just to cool her feet off. She hops onto the top step, gets her feet cooled off and if she's really warm, she'll sit in it for a while. BUT, now I won't have to bring her straight in and give her a second shower after she does that. We've never had any problem with the cleanliness of the water itself...we have a salt system… Works beautifully, but the sand in the bottom of the pool yes, problem. I think this is the best pool vacuum apparently out there cause goodness knows I've tried enough and returned them. I suggest this pool vac. I hope it lasts forever. Oh, and I'm actually a customer I paid for my Pool vac. Just a sidebar I'm 85 years old, and the set up was absolutely no problem whatsoever, and it's not all that terribly heavy. I really do like this vac so far.

This cordless robot vacuum is impressive. My wife and I are amazed how effectively it cleans the pool floor and walls. It has good battery life and an easy-to-use mobile app. Simply drop it in the pool and watch it go. A retrieval hook is included in the box. The waste bin is easily cleaned with a garden hose. Overall, well worth the money.

We have a relatively small pool - only 16k gallons and about 700 sq ft. This robot does a very good job of cleaning the walls and floor. It gets up all the fine debris like dirt and pollen. It cleans my entire pool on a single charge. It actually cleans better than my “in floor pop up system” than costs quite a bit more. The only negative is that it doesn’t clean steps, benches or shallow water areas where you might put lounge chairs.Overall, a quality product!

This is the absolute worst pool cleaner that I’ve ever used. It does not have a specific cleaning pattern as described. It randomly pops wheelies in the middle of the pool instead of staying flat on the pool surface. It moves slow even with a full charge and an empty basket. I have to babysit the unit because it occasionally will get stuck or just stop. Im unsure how this product has so many good reviews. I have been using the dolphin for years and decided to choose this one as my first cordless. I am so disappointed!

I’ve used the unit just twice. The vacuuming in impressive. It climbs the walls easily and scrubs thoroughly. The unit is new. I may come back to revise the rating. At this moment, it’s worth every penny. I have a 20k gallon pool, and this eliminates 90% of my work.

This is a great pool vac ... If you have trouble with this vacuum standing up your filter is most likely clogged after taking the machine out every 20 minutes the first few times I cleaned out my pool this was resolved! It's a great vacuum that cleans well!! I'm looking forward to being able to keep my pool clean this year!!

Tested this in an indoor pool, and it’s been working great. The suction is strong, and it actually manages to clean the walls and waterline really well, which isn’t always the case with robots in this price range. It moves with purpose thanks to the smart navigation, no random patterns or missed spots. The filtration is solid too; it picks up fine particles you wouldn’t even notice at first glance. Battery life is long enough to cover our entire pool in one go. I also like that you can check in or schedule cleans through the app, though I mostly just let it run on its own.Overall, it’s been low effort on my end and high payoff in terms of keeping the pool spotless indoors.

I recently picked up the 2025 Upgrade Aiper Scuba S1 Robotic Pool Cleaner, and although we are at the end of winter and unable to use it at the moment, I wanted to share my thoughts based on the features I’ve explored.I’m impressed by the ultra-fine filtration system, it’s great to know that this cleaner can effectively capture not only large debris but also fine particles that can make the water look cloudy. The smart navigation system also caught my attention because its well-designed, ensuring thorough cleaning with minimal repeated passes over the same spot, which is something I appreciate. For me that it has an impressive 180-minute battery life, means I can trust it to cover my pool without needing a recharge halfway through, making it quite efficient. The app support is a fantastic touch as it allows for convenient monitoring and scheduling, which is a modern feature that I believe enhances the user experience significantly. The fact that its currently winter means I won’t be able to fully test its capabilities until the weather warms up. I also noticed that the initial setup appears to require some patience. While the instructions seem straightforward, getting everything just right may take a bit longer than I expected.I am looking forward to using the Aiper Scuba S1 when the weather permits. With its robust features like smart navigation, long battery life, and effective filtration, it is promising for keeping the pool clean.

So I've used theAiper Scuba S1pool cleaning device since July and it has worked flawlessly. Who would have thought this little robot would be so darn awesome. This is an expensive peace of kit but it has some fantastic features and software that elevates it above the competition. With it's multi sensors, on the fly recalibration, good battery life and ease of use. This might be the ultimate companion for those days where you want to enjoy you're pool instead of cleaning it.The build:This product is built with dense high precision molds that are designed to be fully submersible. It boasts high precision optical and spacial awareness sensors that can navigate many types of surfaces. These include flat, decline, incline, walls, rounded and stairs. The cleaning heads offer surface and side scrubbing actions. The robot also sucks in small to medium sized debris with ease. As scene on the pictures above the bottom roller treads are suction based and offer a smooth transition from floor to walls. Without damaging you're pools cover. The recharging receptacle is fully inclosed in a water tight gasket preventing any leaks and potential moisture damage. The large detritus basket is easy to remove and features micro mesh technology. Optimizing water clarity and offering a superior micro particulate sieve.Cleaning modes:There are 4 cleaning modes to choose from. For a comprehensive cleaning of your entire pool.2 Eco Mode provides a hassle-free periodic cleaning every 48 hours, for 45 minutes, for an entire week.3 Floor only will only clean the bottom portion4 walls only will soak out wall bounders and work in a Z pattern. In use:I have tested this unit for the past 4 months without any hiccups. It has been consistently good and does it's job with minimal effort. I have tested in in my own above ground circular pool and my sisters in ground rectangular pool. It performed great in both circumstances. Offering the same level of leaning power. For all the good there was a handful of times that the robot got confused on my sisters regular stairs. After turning it off then back on it worked fine after recalibration. Since this is a battery operated machine it takes it's time and might be a bit slow for some users. Cleaning my sisters 28L buy 10W foot pool took almost 3:20 hours. This included the walls and floors. In my modest 24 foot above ground pool it took 2:10 hours.Things to consider:1 When using auto mode, it will start buy cleaning all the walls then it will work on the floors. So don't worry it's not broken ( what I assumed at first ) cuz it's just doing it's job as programmed.2 You will need to use the included hook attachment to retrieve the robot in the pool. I would suggest purchasing an extra pool that has an extendable option, for convincing.Final thoughts:If you are looking for the robot that could. Then look no further THEN the AIPER Scuba S1. The ultimate pool cleaning solution. Stop stressing and start relaxing this summer. No worries when guest come over for that all important pool party. The bottom will be sparkling clean.
