It feels sturdy when I’m setting it up. It crawls up pool walls and does the part cleaning. It moves in straight lines, kind of like pushing a lawnmower in neat rows. The pool bottom part, it handles sucking up those twigs. The walls come out looking pretty spotless too, which I wasn’t expecting since our pool gets grimy fast with all the trees around. It gets about 80% of the ccleaning. But it sometimes skips over the tight corners where the pool bottom meets the walls. It will glide right past those spots. The same goes for the stairs. We use a manual pool vacuum to hit those areas afterward. It’s like, literally, I’m doing cleanup on the cleanup. Compared to the old manual vacuum I used to wrestle with, the robot saves me a ton of time, but it’s not a total replacement for the detailed work.

I had high hopes after reading the reviews however, I am disappointed in several things. First the good- This is a very simple Bot essentially after its charged turn it on and drop it in the water. It will begin cleaning after a minute or so. I have used the Bot about half a dozen times now. The Bad- It doesn't do any mapping or learning your pool whatsoever. It simply just randomly starts vacuuming the floors and only climbs the walls about a fourth of the way up then stops. It does a decent job picking up stuff, but also misses larger leaves and heavier debris. Because it randomly just vacuums the floor it will miss entire areas of the pool. I also have steps and a tanning ledge that it has not touched in the 6 times I have used it. The suction is okay but I feel it needs to be stronger for larger items such as bigger leaves. The reason I chose to purchase was my automatic pool cleaner needed to be fixed as well as my booster pump. I would say this robot is about the same other than my pool cleaner would go up on the steps and tanning ledge. I was also disappointed that this Bot only had a mesh screen filter and not a smaller filter to remove tiny debris. The randomness with which the Bot vacuums leaving wide areas it misses as well as the lack of wall climbing is the main reason I will be returning this and trying another Bot in the future. It has 2 modes floor and floor and wall, neither of which will allow it to climb up the walls or so far steps and tanning ledge of my pool. There is no app to program and on a full charge you might get 2 hours of random cleaning. I will continue looking for a better option.

I purchased this Smorobot and only used it about 15 times before it stopped working. It briefly powered on, then shut off and now it won’t turn on at all.I contacted customer support and followed every step they asked. I sent pictures, videos, and all the info they requested. It’s now been nearly 30 days with no resolution. I’ve emailed multiple times and received no real response.Today,5/20/25, I called their support line. Someone answered, but they sounded disoriented. I even asked if they were okay to talk. I explained my issue and then we got disconnected. No callback, no help.Bottom line: the product failed quickly, and there is no real customer service. Do not buy this.

I can only give 5 stars? This guy is a literal TANK! It climbed the walls like Tom Cruise in Mission Impossible. It even went on the steps and I was amazed! Excellent investment and no more Hose to swim around💯❤️❤️❤️

Have above ground pool with lots of creases and lumps. It still cleaned it good. I had to nudge it a couple of times off lumps, so I need to sit and watch it work, but a lot easier than cleaning manually. Love it. High recommend.

We have a lot of trees around our pool and I was very impressed about how this cleaner picks up everything.Also the battery runs for 2.5 hours (what it needs for my pool) and the motor is strong.Operation is easy to understand and anyone can do it.I highly recommend this unit.
