I was looking at other brands like DeWalt, Craftsman and others, both on-line and at a big box retailer. The prices seemed a bit high for what was going to be occasional use. I already owned a Porter Cable combo set and wanted to stay with that brand since I was happy with it and already had the batteries and charger. After a little searching on-line I purchased this hammer drill and have been very happy with it so far. Already completed a few projects drilling through concrete block and stucco. I was a little concerned about it not having a handle to keep the drill from spinning, but no issues. Great purchase!

Es muy potente para la acción de girado pero para la percusión (acción de rotomartillo) es deficiente. Me trebo a decir que sólo te va a ser útil para perforar ladrillo o block en posiciones cómodas, porque perforar concreto en un techo fué cansado.

Unless you’re charging the battery by using a windmill, this is not wind powered.

This drill is great! I haven't found anything it won't do. Dry was screws or masonry hammer bits. It can do it all.
