I Just bought this teal colored 20W Cordless Hot Melt Glue Gun for my crafts and it works great so far. I like the on off feature and love that its cordless makes it much more convenient. it seems to stay charged for quite a while and it melts the glue very quickly so all in all it works as described.

This is a cordless glue gun using a USB-C cable for charging. (Power supply not included, though the charging cable is.) The gun is comfortable to use for those with large hands and small. A USB-C charging port is located at the bottom rear of the handle just above the single indicator on the glue gun. (See photos.) The indicator glows red when charging, then turns off when fully charged. It glows blue when the glue gun is on. The trigger advances the inserted glue stick, as with most glue guns. This one does have a feature I have never seen before, though. There is an adjusting screw on the rear of the gun that let's one set the amount of glue dispensed with each full trigger pull. (See photos.) I assume this might be useful when wanting to dispense the same amount of glue with each trigger pull, as when gluing a number of the same item. The tip has an "anti-scald" feature so that you can only touch the last 3 mm or so of the metal portion of the tip. The rest of the tip is insulated to prevent burns, and to minimize "stringing" when moving the glue gun away.. A wire stand allows you to keep the glue gun upright but folds out of the way when not needed. This glue gun requires 7 mm glue sticks, which are readily available, and accepts a range diameter from 6.8 to 7.5 mm. The Instructions say to "use the recommended original glue stick", but never specify the vendor and/or part number, what they are called, or any specifications at all.In use, the glue gun functioned well. On power up, you need to wait four minutes before use. I found that the mechanism that grips the glue stick and moves it forward does not always grab the glue stick but this is a common issue with many glue guns. In this case, release the trigger and try again. The gun was easy to control and put the glue where desired. I used the glue sticks that were supplied with the glue gun.The instructions are not clear and, in some statements, I couldn't understand what was intended at all. Several important pieces of information were missing, such as how long the battery takes to recharge, how long the glue gun will run on a battery charge, and what purpose the adjustment screws on the rear served. As I haven't run it until the battery is dead, I can't comment on first issue. The second issue depends upon the capacity of the USB power source used to charge it.Overall, it's a good value and I'd consider it a useful tool.

Review for 20W Cordless Hot Melt Glue Gun with Type-C Charging & 30 Glue SticksPurchased: May 2025Cost: $20.99 + taxColor/Design: Compact, cordless design with silicone-covered brass nozzlePurpose: For DIY, crafts, and home repair projectsLikes:Cordless design = no need to stay near an outlet—huge convenience upgrade!Heats up quickly and works well for light-to-medium duty tasksUses a standard USB-C charger, so it's compatible with most electronics cordsSilicone tip near the brass nozzle helps prevent glue buildup—great featureLightweight and portable, making it easy to use in tight or mobile spacesDislikes:Only fits mini glue sticks (150mm)—wish it accepted both sizesThe adjustable handle knob wasn’t intuitive; had to leave it loosened so the trigger would grip and feed the glue stick properlyThe adjustment design is different than typical guns and may take getting used toOverall Recommendation:This glue gun is a great option for crafters or DIYers wanting flexibility without being tethered to a cord. It has thoughtful upgrades like the silicone nozzle and USB-C charging, but be ready for a small learning curve with the trigger tension. Still, it's a big step up from basic plug-in models.

I have to say the idea of not dragging a cord around the shop every time I needed to glue something together appeals to me. And, my expectations were pretty low. The fact that it did not use a battery pack from a known tool line like DeWalt or Makita had me doubting its ability to do the job. I was actually pleasantly surprised. The packaging is adequate but it's not very fragile so it should do the job. It has a solid feel in your hand and doesn't come across as cheap or shoddy even though it is made of plastic. The on-off switch is conveniently located but not in the way when you're using the gun. There is a three color LED on the back of the handle showing when the battery is charging (red LED) fully charged (green LED) or the gun is on (blue LED).This glue gun has a feature I've never seen before, there is a screw on the back that adjusts the travel of the trigger and controls how much glue is pushed through the nozzle at a time. This adjustment actually works fairly well. You can see in the picture that I have four glue drops all using a full stroke of the trigger . If you were trying to glue small pieces and needed to limit the amount of glue this would certainly do the trick. And to my amazement, the screw combination is actually made of metal with a stop nut, not a cheap piece of plastic that's gonna wear out in two weeks. The slight downside, however, is that it's very difficult to get a large amount of glue to come out with a single pull. Definitely a "small pieces, small projects" tool. The price point might be just a tad high, but I haven't used it long enough to know how long it's going to last, nor was I able to test the life of the battery on a single charge in order to get this review done in a timely manner. The glue sticks are small in diameter but I believe these are available locally and they do give you 30 of them in the package. I think the temperature of the glue coming out is a little on the low side, so there are some materials that might not stick really well. For things like cardboard, wood and other porous materials, I think it will perform just fine.
