  • FUNCTION: Engine Timing Belt & Water Pump Kit guarantees durability and performance of the entire transmission system. The engine cooling system stabilises the engine operating temperature by limiting the rise above the expected limits. The coolant is circulated by the water pump, which must ensure the correct flow at each engine speed. Incorrect operation of the water pump can cause significant damage to the engine. For this reason it is extremely important that it is systematically checked.

Update, the company has reached out to us and refunded the price of product. That is appreciated, I hope they take this to heart and get a different source for their tensioner bolts.I have never had a problem with timing kits before and have replaced in the neighborhood of 30 Subaru timing belts over the past couple decades. This kit installed easy, nothing alarming and the car ran great, For less than 1,000 miles. My daughter driving the car back to college broke down heading down I-90. Had the car towed home and upon opening the timing belt inspection cover, I found the belt loose. After removing the timing cover I found the tensioner sitting against the idler cog. The tensioner bolt had broke. I have never seen a tensioner or idler bolt break before. So of course I get out my drill bits and easy outs and start working to remove the broken bolt. Expecting the drill to produce a lot of little steel chips, this bolt produced many long steel curls. I have good drill bits but a good bolt should not produce the steel curl unless the bolt was made of very soft steel. To top it off after starting to remove the bolt with my easy out, the bolt started backing out very easy but part way out there was a light “pop” sound. As I removed the easy out only part of the bolt was attached. The end of the bolt was still broke off in block. So one again I grabbed by drill with the counter clockwise bit and started drilling another hole in the remains of the bolt. To my surprise the bit bound in the bolt and easily backed the remains of the bolt right out.The damage to the engine was severe. 3 of 4 cylinders had zero compression. No doubt the valves were bent. So to repair the car $5,400.I would recommend this brand be banned.

BUYER BEWARE!!!!! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. THE TENSION BOLT WILL BREAK AND TAKE OUT YOUR ENGINE. I have been trying to contact company through Amazon for 10 days now and am at the beginning again. Getting a real run around. I am looking at a $4700 bill to repair the motor because the bolt broke on the tensioner and bent many valves, in turn locking up the motor. THIS COMPANY SHOULD BE BANNED FROM AMAZON.
