While the box indicates that this is step down convertor from 220V to 110V the item itself indicates 110V to 220V. I connected my appliance on the basis of the information on the box and my appliance blew up. Returning these items back to Amazon is a fairly complected process in this part of the world so I ended up having to pay for the repair of my appliance and buying a step-down transformer locally.

Not as advertised . It does not convert 220v to 110 as advertised .

Converted 220 to 110 in Italy.Hair dryer worked. Styling iron for hair did not get hot enough. Able to charge all my electronicsWorked well did not overheat
