My son thought it was cute to kick open his door and he completely broke off the place on the door frame where the door knob latches so instead of replacing the entire door frame I bought this, and it is such a game changer I am so happy that I got it it took literally 30 seconds to install. The only thing that I will warn you about is that it will add a couple centimeters to the thickness so you have to account for that... if your door is already sticking right now it's not going to close when you put this on so make sure that there's a teeny tiny little bit of space so it will fit correctly and the door can close!

This is a great product. I have not seen anything like this in big box hardware stores. I thought only option would be to replace the entire door frame something I am not able to do . This fixed a interior door jamb that had cracked. Door now closes and stays closed. My son loves it because the dogs cannot get in his room at night now due to the fact they cannot open door
