The cloth is very thin and does not diffuse light, a standard light diffuser for my studio light cloth is 4 times thicker. Just buy real lights and diffusers for those lights. Nothing more than a cheap gimick

I greatly underestimated how big this thing would. It really is 30" x30" x 30" as advertised. It's big enough to photograph a wide variety of large objects. I mainly got this to take photos of my larger Gundam models and wanted to be extra sure I got something big enough lol.The backdrops do need to be ironed for the best results. I just used the low setting and went to work. It makes a big difference. The model in the pics is about 12" tall so that should give a rough visual sense of size.Definitely worth every penny.

I bought this to make listing items on ebay simpler, it did not. I had to put a shelf from one of my ikea units on the bottom which defeats the look of a smooth line in order to flatten the bottom. If you don't weight the bottom down you get puckering wherever you place your item. No amount of fussing will solve this. I had to use clips to clip the sheet down because the provided velcro only attaches lightly in each corner and it sags. It took me over an hour just to get it right. I'm only keeping it because it does defuse the light. I may cut the bottom piece out so I can lay things flat but getting the cloth to lay properly is a pain. I may resort to getting a paper roll to fit. For all the hassle I could have made a box myself.

Very large. You must iron the cube and the colored drapes before using. A good ironing job will save you Photoshop work. If you store the cube only partially folded (it will be 30" x 30", you can save re-ironing. Also roll the fabric around a cardboard tube instead of folding it. Not top quality but for the occasional need to photograph products it works great for the price. Needs to be positioned somewhere with even lighting (no shadows) and on top of a clean white surface. Would not recommend using it for constant travel as I think the fabric/construction would not hold up well to be folded and unfolded constantly. Has several ports so many options for photographing. Note- fabric is nylon so watch the setting on your iron!

This light box works great. I was photographing rabbits for my rescue group's website, and the lightbox made a huge difference. It was large enough to set up props with the rabbits, even my 12 pound rabbit.I looked at several similar products on Amazon and for most of them, people complained that the box and the backdrops are wrinkled. This box comes with a very sturdy frame and when it pops up, the sides are fairly taut so wrinkling is not an issue. The backdrops did need to be ironed. I couldn't get them perfectly flat, but the faint fold lines didn't show in the pictures. The backdrops attach using two pieces of Velcro, one at each upper corner, and I wish there was a third one for the middle, as the backdrop sags in the middle. But I can easily stitch an extra piece of Velcro on or a piece of tape will do the trick.

It does the job, but cheaply made.

Great product for the price. Just sucked that the largest size was the cheapest. I didn't really need a 30" x 30" unit, but it was so much cheaper. But for the price its a good product. I do understand the complaints of it being too translucent and that it doesn't diffuse enough, but I didn't think it was issue, I just positioned my lights in places where they would always be out of the photo. I used 4 ALZO 85 watt CFLs and put one on each side, one on top and one in the back, but in the top of the back. I did find the backdrops to be too big to line up with the velcro. And of course it being folded up the wrinkles and fold lines could be an issue. I'm hoping it'll go away over time just from the heat of the lamps.

When my old photo box fell apart I was happy to find this great deal. Though it was a bit tricky to figure out how to fold it up. But I managed. My photos look great which is important for my online artisan jewelry.
